Note: Buried in Lot 3rd.142, beside husband Earl E. LONG who died March 6, 1973; he is in Lot 3rd.141, and they share a monument.

*Note: This article is from the online archives at "Southeast Iowa Union / Fairfield Ledger", at a point when "The Fairfield Ledger" was newly online and publishing a synopsis of the article online, and encouraging readers to purchase the paper version for a complete story. The "Union's" attempt at adding archived material (which it didn't originally publish) in September, 2018, did not credit or cite the original publisher in any way, nor did it include the original date of publication, much to the detriment of research in general. While this fact was brought up to the "Union", nothing has been done to correct this oversight. As such, the particular date of publication is an estimate.
