Rhoda J. HOLLISTER

Rhoda J. HOLLISTER, 86, of Parkview Care Center, died at 7:43 a.m. today, June 16, 1993, at Jefferson County Hospital.

Arrangements are pending at Raymond Funeral Home.

Miss HOLLISTER was born July 3, 1906, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Findley "F.C." and Bessie BLACK HOLLISTER. She had lived her entire life in Jefferson County. She attended Logan School, graduated from Fairfield High School in 1926 and attended Parsons College. she worked as a clark for the Milholin Paint Store, starting in 1957. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Dorcas Circle, Rebekah Lodge 96, of which she was a past noble grand, and was active in Keep Young Club, serving as its memorial and card chair-woman.

She is survived by a sister, Josephine McCOY of Black Mountain, N.C.

The service for Rhoda J. HOLLISTER, 86, of Parkview Care Center, who died Wednesday morning, June 16, 1993, at Jefferson County Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitaiton is open at Raymond Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to First Lutheran Church.
