Hi Luke,
Unfortunately our Alexander Welsh isn't the same as yours. We (Glen Eberts & I) have our Alexander & family emigrating from Scotland to US 1856 to Hilton, Iowa. He was injured and apparently became a "lifelong cripple" and died in Hilton in 1897. Sorry we can't help you on this one.
