Joseph Bilek passed away on Tuesday morning, Aug. 19th, after an illness of a few weeks at his home in this city, at the age of 71 years. Funeral services were conducted yesterday morning at 9:30 at the German Catholic Church, Rev. Father Wagener officiating, with burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Feb. 14, 1848 and is buried in Calvary Cresco Cemetery.
