Mrs. Anne Larson.

Mrs. Anna Larson was born August 15th, 1841, in Norway, where she was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. In the year 1866, she came to America, and located in Leland, Illinois. Here she was married that year to Andrew Askeland. To this union was born four children, who are all living. She was a woman of much experience and had also many trials, her husband dying leaving her to care for her children. In the year 1903, she was married to Jens Larson, of Denmark. They located in the south part of Jewell, where they have lived until her death, April 13th, 1911. Mrs. Larson had been of poor health for a considerably long time, and lately was confined to her bed.

She is mourned by her husband, Jens Larson, three sons, one daughter and two brothers, and by hosts of friends, all of whom extend heart-felt sympathy to the sorrowing family.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Eastvold Tuesday, April 18th, in the Lutheran church.
