DROPPED DEAD SUNDAY
Last Sunday morning, February 12th, Mr. Nicholas Graff, the father of Mrs. William Brocksmith, living north east of Jewell, died instantaneously from a rupture of a blood vessel in the brain. He was a man of about 70 years of age and had been making his home with his daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Brocksmith left Tuesday afternoon to accompany the remains to Rantoul, Ill., his former home where the funeral services will be conducted and the body laid at rest.
The Record joins with the friends of Mr. and Mrs. Brocksmith in extending sincere sympatny in their time of bereavement.
SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Nicholaus Graff and Mary Cordes were the parents of Tena Graff who married William F. Brockschmidt in Champaign County, Illinois in 1904.
