OBITUARY

Anna Marie Hansen was born in Thyse, Denmark, November 26, 1837, was confirmed April 27, 1851, and was married to Thomas C. Peterson in Serretslev, Denmark, May 27, 1858. In 1884 she came to America, her husband having preceded her about a year. Ever since coming to America she has lived with her husband in Jewell. She was a member of the Danish Lutheran church here, in which she has always been a faithful worker and a loyal member.

She died Monday, January 9, 1911 at the age of 73 years, 1 month, and 13 days. She was the mother of three children, all of whom survive her, Mrs. Peter Christianson of near Jewell, and Mrs. Chris Anderson and Mr. C. P. Thompson, both of Jewell. Her husband also survives. In the years she has lived here Mrs. Peterson had made many friends, all of whom mourn her departure and extend their sympathy to the bereaved husband and family.
