S. R. LINGLE'S SISTER DEAD

S. R. Lingle received a telegram Sunday night announcing the death of his sister, Mrs. Lena Samuels, and left on the night train for Clinton, Ill., to be present at the funeral services. Mrs. Samuels with her daughter moved from the farm to Clinton the first of March and was living in second floor rooms in a building she owned in that town. About a month ago she in some way fell over the landing to the ground below, the fall breaking several bones and causing internal injuries. Her condition became suddenly worse and Sunday she passed away. Her death leaves but the niece and a sister residing in California as Mr. Lingle's sole surviving relatives. His friends in Jewell join the Record in extending him sympathy in his loss.
