Obituary.
Died: at the home of Mr. A.H. Danielson at this place, October 28, 1897, aged 21 years, Miss Hemmings.
The deceased came from Norway about three weeks ago and on her way to this place contracted malarial fever, which was the immediate cause of her death. It seems sad that after her long tiresome journey death should claim her just as she landed on the shores, which would have been her home in the future. She was an admirable young lady and her death will be an irreparable loss to those who loved her and called her sister. This is but another instance of the uncertainty of life. She leaves to mourn her loss three brothers iving near this place, and a mother and sister in Norway. The funeral services will occur, Friday, at the home of Mr. Danielson, at 1 o'clock, and at the Lutheran church at 1:30, the bereaved relatives and friends have the sympathy of all in this affliction.
