Death of Mrs. John Thoreson

Mrs. John Thoreson died this morning* at 10:30 of consumption, after and illness of over a year. Mr. and Mrs. Thoreson were married in Lee county, Ill., in 1873 and moved to this country in 1874, settling on the farm south of Ellsworth, which has since been their home. Mrs. Thoreson leaves a husband and eight children to mourn an irreparable loss. She was loving, charitable and ever busy laboring for the welfare of her family and friends, and was a leader in many good and noble deeds.--Freeman.
