The Simar Family, who had lived in Bradford Co. Pa. Moved west, relocating in Fayette Co. Iowa, the first to take up residence in Fayette Co. Asher or Ashur Simar, about 1850, Other members of this family followed, and by 1860 there were at least four Simar families all farmers, living in the area.
Any information on these early Simar families would be appreciated.
