Commander as Patriarchs

Des Moines, Jan. 5. – Gen. M. F. LeRoy, of Manchester, will succeed M. A. Raney, of Marengo, as the department commander of the Patriarchs Militant in Iowa. The election has just been held, and while all returns are not yet in, there are enough to show this to be the case. Gen. Raney has been Commander in Chief and resigned as department commander. This department council will meet in Ottumwa February 19. Two new cantons have been organized recently in the state, one in Keokuk and one in Hamburg.
