Wayne Speer, 68, former Davis County resident, died Feb. 19 a6 Tucson (Ariz.) General Hospital.
He was born Dec. 10, 1911 at Marceline, Mo. to Harvey and Maude Francis Speer. He was a truck driver and lived in Davis County most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Pulaski Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Larry of Haward, Calif.; two daughters, Karol Roach and Mary Jensen of California; and four sisters, Hersel Burns of Dallas, Texas, Wava Lamb of Wichita, Kan., Geneva Giles of Pulaski, and Wanda Knupp of Bloomfield.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Wagler Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Quentin Johnson. Burial was in the Pualski Cemetery.
