Funeral is set for Sondrol, 85

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ward-Van Slyke Funeral Home in Clear Lake for Thorkel E. Sondrol, 85, who died at 8:20 p.m. Monday at the Davis County Hospital.

The retired Clear Lake merchant is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edwin Gilfillan of Bloomfield, one son, Thorkel E. Sondrol of Clear Lake; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sisters.

A memorial has been established and any local memorials can be sent to the Wagler Funeral Home. The body was taken from the Wagler Funeral Home to Clear Lake today.
