Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Osthoff were held Thursday afternoon in the Tuecke funeral home in Garnavillo. Mrs. Osthoff died early Tuesday morning at the McGregor hospital, where she was a patient only since Monday.

Services were conducted by Oliver Smith of Waterloo. Burial was in the Clayton cemetery.

Frances Elizabeth Osthoff was born Oct. 19, 1887, to John and Elizabeth Broessel at Rickardsville, Iowa. On June 28, 1910, she was married to Edward Osthoff in Dubuque. They lived all their married life in Clayton. To this union one daughter, Vivian, was born. Mrs. Osthoff was preceded in death by her husband and one step-daughter.

Surviving are one daughter, Vivian, of Clayton; three step-children, Mrs. Bud (Irene) Stott of Darlington, Wis., Mrs. Clarence (Lorraine) Lietha of Cochrane, Wis., and Edwin Osthoff Jr. of Guttenberg.
