Strawberry Point: Funeral services for Mrs. C. Norris Anderson (Margaret Mary Opitz) were held Monday morning, Dec. 29, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Strawberry Point. Interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.

Born March 03, 1907, in Elkader, Mrs. Anderson was the daughter of Max and Elizabeth (Bauer) Opitz. On Oct. 21, 1944, she was married to C. Norris Anderson in Los Angeles, Calif., and they lived there the past seven years.

Preceded in death by her father and one brother, Harold, she is survived by her husband, C. Norris Anderson of Monterey Park, Calif.: her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Opitz, Strawberry Point; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Burd of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Helen Radloff of Riverside, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Colline of Edgewood; three brothers, Max and Joe of Strawberry Point and Lee of Guttenberg.

The Rosary was said at 8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and the Rev. Robert Palen was the officiating priest.
