Sherman, F.B. died 1863

SHERMAN, SEVERENCE

DIED - In Monona, Iowa, Wednesday the 3d inst., after an illness of eight days, F.B. Sherman, age 26 years 2 months and 7 days.

Note: There is a broken gravestone in the Monona City cemetery, making the engraves dates illegible. A best guess for the inscription is: Frank B. Sherman "Son of F.W. & M.?" The obit of Frederick W. Sherman names his wife as Minerva Severence (d. 5/7/1858) - it's very likely the above death notice is for Frank B. Sherman
