The death of Gottlieb Kleinlein, aged _7 (looks like 57 or 67) years, occurred Monday afternoon after a lingering illness. Besides his wife and son John, he leaves two brothers and one sister: Conrad Kleinlein of Lark, N. Dak., and Tony Kleinlein and Mrs. Anna Moser of this place to mourn his death. Funeral services will occur Wednesday afternoon in the Lutheran church at St. Sebald, conducted by Rev. Geheart. Interment will be made in the St. Sebald cemetery.

HONEY CREEK

John Leonard Gottlieb Kleinlien, son of John and Anna Kleinlein was born December 4th, 1862 at the place known as Kleinlein Mill. At the age of fourteen he was confirmed at the Lutheran Church to which church he belonged through life, a faithful member. After finishing school he learned the milling trade under the direction of his father, and remained in the occupation in which he was a master. On December 4th, 1890 he was united in marriage to Miss Marie Opperman. To this union four children were born, three of them passing away infancy, one son, John, survive to mourn his loss. Mr. Kleinlein had been in poor health for some time but bore his suffering with a Christian fortitude. He was honest and upright and won the confidence of all who knew him and will be missed by his many friends.

He peacefully departed on Monday, October 20th, 1919 and the funeral was held from the home to St. Sebald Lutheran Church, on Wednesday, October 22nd. The Rev. L. G. Gehret assisted by Rev. Rembod, conducting the services. The many friends extend their sympathy to the bereaved family.
