Miss Inda Grady, daughter of Mrs. LeRoy E. Larson of St. Olaf, became the bride of Pvt. William Ray Hoover, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Hoover of Garnavillo, Dec. 20, at the Norway Lutheran church. The Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiated. Mrs. A. P. Matthews of Sykeston, S. Dak., sister of the bride, and Ann Hoover of Garnavillo, sister of the groom, assisted the bride. Kenneth Miller was best man and Alonzo Engelhardt and Roy William Engelhardt served as ushers.
Both Pvt. and Mrs. Hoover are graduates of the Elkader high school and attended Upper Iowa University in Fayette. Pvt. Hoover is to report to Camp Kilmer in New Jersey after the holidays, while Mrs. Hoover will return to her teaching position in Marquette where she teaches the second grade and has charge of Grade school music.
