Nuehring - Saacke marriage - 1951

Miss Dorothy Saacke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Saacke of Farmersburg, and Marlyn Nuehring, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Nuehring of Monona, were married, Nov. 20, at St. John's Lutheran church in Farmersburg with the Rev. R. H. Steege officiating. Miss Jeanette Saacke, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Leo Fette, nephew of the bride, acted as best man. Delos Martins, cousin of the bride and Harlan Welzel, brother-in-law of the groom, acted as ushers.

An informal reception in the church parlors was held for about 150 guests, at which Miss Romona Saacke, sister of the bride had charge of the guest book, and Mrs. Lloyd Lenth and Mrs. Elmer Radloff presided at the gift table. Mrs. Gus Lenth, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Herbert Deal, aunt of the groom, poured.
