Buchheim - Bush marriage - 1951

Sept. 30, at Zion Lutheran church in Clayton Center, Joan Bush, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Bush, of Colesburg, became the bride of Donald Buchheim, son of Mrs. Otto Buchheim of Clayton Center. The Rev. J. H. Zerhusen of Clayton Center officiated. Miss Shirley White, of Elkader, attended the bride as maid of honor, and Miss Betty Christiansen, Elkader, and Miss Alo Behnken were bridesmaids. Susie Kramer, Elkader, was flower girl. The groom was attended by Benny Buchheim, Elkader, as best man. Neil Meyer, Clayton Center, and Donald McLane, Elkader, all friends of the couple, were ushers.

After the ceremony the couple left for Cedar Rapids, where they will make their home.
