Miss Margaret Farrell, daughter of Mrs. Stella Farrell and the late Frank Farrell of Elkader, became the bride of Arthur Dahlhauser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dahlhauser Sr., of Whittmore, at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Elkader, Aug. 18. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. B. H. Skahill, Pastor, officiated. James Thul and Marvin Dahlhauser of Whittemore were the acolytes. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Ray Farrell. The bride was attended by her twin sister, Miss Agnes Farrell of Rochester, Minn. Little Betty Dahlhauser of Whittmore, a niece of the groom, was the flower girl. The groom was attended by his brother, Peter Dahlhauser Jr., of Whittemore.
Mrs. Dahlhauser is a graduate of St. Joseph's high school and attended Mount Mercy junior college at Cedar Rapids. She also attended the Merch School of Nursing at Dubuque. Since January she has been an assistant in the Medical Associates Clinic at Dubuque. Mr. Dahlhauser is a graduate of the West Bend high school. Following his return from service, where he spent 14 months in the Korean occupational army, he entered Loras college at Dubuque and will graduate from there in January.
The couple will make their home at Dubuque until the groom's graduation.
