Seaba - Colvin marriage - 1959

The Peace Evangelical and Reformed church was the scene, April 26, when Mary Jo Colvin became the bride of James Seaba of Iowa City. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Don Colvin. The matron of honor was Mrs. Richard Knutson of Manchester, and bridesmaids were Miss Donna Potter of Sigourney, cousin of the groom, and Miss Nancy Kitch, friend of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Gertrude Colvin of Elkader and is a graduate of the University of Iowa School of Nursing. She is employed in the University Hospital at Iowa City. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Seaba of Sigourney and is an X-Ray student at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, where the couple will make their home at 421 Douglas Court.
