Harold W. Goodrich, 88, Mountain City, Tenn.
MOUNTAIN CITY, Tenn – Harold W. (Johnny) Goodrich, 88, of 791 Circle Drive, Mountain City, Tenn. Died Dec. 31, 1990 in the Watauga Hospital in Boone, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, 1991, at 2:30 p.m. in the Cleghorn Presbyterian Church.

He was the son of Emma and Merton Goodrich of Cleghorn. In 1922, he graduated from Cleghorn High School. He was a self-employed contractor.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Gunderson Goodrich, whom he married in 1933; a daughter, Bonnie Carter of Mountain City; a son, Don, of Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister, Mildred Montgomery of Cherokee; eight grandchildren and a great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers: Emery, Vincent, Merrill, Vernon, and Roy. (Source: Cherokee Daily Times, Thursday, Jan. 3, 1991, pg. 2)
