Mrs. Patricia Letsche, 50, Cherokee, died Friday in the Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital, Cherokee, following a lengthy illness.

Services were held Monday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cherokee. The burial was in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cherokee.

She was born March 17, 1943, in Marcus to Matt and Gladys Roethler Geisler. She attended school in Merrill and LeMars and graduated from Marcus High School in 1961. She married Charles Letsche in Ellendale on Oct. 21, 1961. She had worked as bookkeeper and part owner of Letsche’s Bike Shop in Cherokee for the past 24 years. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Ladies Union.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Michael and wife Anne of Plano, Texas; Steven and wife Becky of Blaine, Minn.; Thomas and his wife Mary of Cherokee; one daughter Kimberly Harper and her husband Dan of Cherokee; three grandchildren, Alexander and Elizabeth Letsche, Hannah Harper; four sisters, Angela Kuehn and Cheryl Upton of Sioux City; Margaret Homan and her husband Ed of LeMars; Jackie Betsworth and her husband George Hunt of St. Paul, Minn.
