Lisa (Sitzmann) Loucks,34, of rural Aurelia, formerly of Cherokee, died Thursday in McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, following a two-car collision near Spencer, Iowa.

Services will be held Monday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cherokee. The burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cherokee.

Lisa was born June 30, 1959, in LeMars, Iowa to Stanley and Louise (Probst) Sitzmann. She attended school in Cherokee, Iowa and graduated from Washington High School in 1977. She attended the University of Iowa from 1977-1980. She worked in Cherokee and Sioux Falls, South Dakota for several years. On December 18, 1987, she married Steven Loucks in Cherokee.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Amanda, Chelsea and Amber all at home; her parents, Stan and Louise Sitzmann, of Cherokee; four sisters, Susan McManus and her husband, Patrick, of Omaha, Nebraska; Mary Leese, of Prescott Valley, Arizona; Brenda Ruppert, and husband Marty of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and LeAnn Sitzmann, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; mother and father-in-laws, Dale and Karen Magnussen of Larrabee, Iowa and Robert and Judy Loucks of Cherokee.
