HULL

Darius Hull, sr., an old and respected citizen of Cherokee, died at his home at 1 o’clock this morning. The funeral services will be held at the family residence tomorrow at 10 o’clock. Mr. Hull was born in Venice, Cayuga county, N. Y., and at the time of his death was 74 years of age. He came to this county some 15 years ago, and his name has since become familiar to every resident. He leaves an aged wife, two sons and two daughters – Darius and Frank Hull, Mrs. Mark Gillette and Mrs. A. J. Carmen. (Source: The Weekly Cherokean, Cherokee, IA., Tues., June 1, 1886, pg. 1)
