Funeral services for Larry Eugene Kellerhals, 40, formerly of Tipton, were held at Trinity Lutheran church Dec. 19 with the Rev. Donald Sondrol officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim Fell, Rodney Laucamp, Bruce McQuillen, Steve Kellerhals, Jim Haycraft and Michael Driscoll. Jan Penningroth was organist.

Mr. Kellerhals died Dec. 14 at St. Anthony's hospital, Amarillo, Texas.

The son of Frank L. and Vera M. Wagaman Kellerhals, he was born at Cedar Rapids June 11, 1948. He graduated from Tipton high school in 1966 and attended the University of Iowa.

He was living in Amarillo at the time of his death, where he was a real estate broker.

Mr. Kellerhals was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict, serving from April 1, 1968 to Jan. 4, 1972, including 2 years and 7 months overseas. He was awarded the Vietnam Campaign and Vietnam Service medals. He was a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. Jim (Betty Lou) Arenz and Mrs. Gordon (Emmy) Nolte, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Richard (Marvel) Foens, Tipton; 2 brothers, Lee, Marion and Donald R., Los Angeles, Calif. and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
