Final rites for Mrs. Edward (Ruth) Foraker, 94, will be held at the Barker Funeral Home, West Branch, at 11 a.m. today (Dec. 21) with the Rev. Sang Ro officiating. Burial will be in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Foraker died at the Lantern Park Care center, Coralville, Dec. 7.

Born near West Branch July 19, 1894, she was married to Edward Foraker at West Branch March 23, 1913. The couple farmed in Johnson county, and in her early years, Mrs. Foraker was a teacher in the rural schools. After the couple moved to Iowa City she was employed in the dietary department of University hospitals.

She is survived by a sister, Irene Clausen, St. Paul, Minn. Her husband preceded her in death.
