Funeral services for Wiktor Ryl, 94, were held in West Branch Dec. 13 with the Rev. David Schuldt officiating. Mr. Ryl died at Crestview Care Center Dec. 9.

The son of Christian and Marianna Baum Ryl, he was born in Niebrow, Poland, Nov. 17, 1894 and was married to Leba Lace in Vladivastock, Siberia, USSR. They moved to the United States in 1951. He lived and worked in Chicago, as a printer. They moved to West Branch in 1977.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Nellie) Weber, West Branch, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife.
