Last rites for Milo E. Agne, 77, were held at the Red Oak Presbyterian church Nov. 29 with the Rev. Davis Mayo officiating. Burial was in Red Oak cemetery. Pallbearers were Kevin and Chuck Kofron, Dean Anderson, Raymond Eilers, Jerry Agne and Jim Cashman. Honorary bearers were Ed Davidson, Harold Oldorf, Lou Winston and George Straub. Jan Penningroth was organist. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Schroeder were in charge of flowers.

Mr. Agne died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Nov. 25. An Oddfellows service was held at St. Mary's hall Nov. 28.

The son of George and Edna Cashman Agne, he was born near Tipton Aug. 23, 1911. He attended the rural Cedar county schools and graduated from Tipton high school in 1930. He was married to Vera E. Eilers at Nashua Aug. 20, 1936.

He lived in the Tipton area all his life and was a retired farmer.

He was a member of the Cedar County Farm Bureau, the Tipton Oddfellow lodge and the Cedar County Cattlemen's association.

He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife.
