Funeral services for Violet Offerman, 74, Wilton, were held Dec. 14 at St. Mathias Catholic church in Muscatine, with the Revs. Tom Reilman and Charles Gannon officiating. Mary Cole was the organist and pallbearers were Ed McQuillen, David A. Offerman, Adam Offerman, Gary Lilienthal, Ed Grau and Wayne Ralfs. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.
Mrs. Offerman died Dec. 12 at Muscatine General hospital.
The daughter of Rudolph and Lulu Ayres Sebelien, she was born Oct. 7, 1913 in Cedar county. She married Albert Offerman Dec. 27, 1937 in Iowa City. He died in 1971. She was a member of the Wilton BPW, the Davenport Outing Club and St. Mary's Catholic church. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Offerman is survived by a son, David R., Lombard, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Judd (Laura) Anderson, Muscatine and 7 grandchildren.
