Karen,

Thank you so much for your response! I think Eleanor was born in Dubuque,Iowa.
She is 3 years old in the 1900 census living with her mom, grandmother (Eleanor Parks) and her uncle in Julien, Dubuque,Iowa. In 1905 special census she is in school in Dubuque again. From there I loose track of them. My grandmother mentioned Black Hawk too. My grandmother also said there was a boy that was somehow related (i can't remember the story and my grandmother passed) that was also raised by "Grandma Blough". I think Geandma Blough was a good friend of Kate Parks Meggison. It seems that Kate asked grandma Blough to take care of her daughter and the boy as she was sick. I wish i could remember more.
