This community was shocked to learn of the death of little Raymond, the nine-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Deo Martelle, who reside near this place.

The little fellow was ailing only two days and all that was possible was done to save his sweet young life but on Sunday morning the Death Angel sealed those eyes that were so dear to the bereaved parents; doubly bereaved in this instance as they suffered a similar loss only a few months ago.

Death was due to inflammation of the bowels.

May a kind providence sustain the stricken parents and give them strength to bear this great trial.
