Old friends and neibors here were grieved to learn of the death of Chris. Frok of Clark county, S.D., whose demise occurred last week but who has resided all his life in Allamakee county, as he and his estimable family left Waterville only about a year ago.

He leaves a wife and nine children to mourn the loss of a kind husband and indulgent father.
