Another of Paint Creek township pioneers has been recently called his long home in the person of Casper Manderfield, who peacefully breathed his last at his home here July 17th, aged 96 years.
His remains were laid to rest in the Cherry Mound cemetery July 19th, followed by a large funeral procession of old friends and neighbors.
He was an honorable, honest, upright man and highly respected by his neighbors in this community.
