Mrs. Prochaska Dies After Illness
Mrs. Joseph R. Prochaska, 62, lifelong resident of Webster County and many years
of Clare, died at 1:15 o'clock this morning at Mercy Hospital, after an
illness of several months.
She was the daughter of the late pioneer settlers, William and Mary Jackman
Hines, who settled west of Clare in 1856.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Prochaska is survived by a son, Thomas of Clare, six
grandchildren and a brother Charles Hines of Red Lodge, Montana. Two sisters
and two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Friday
morning at 8:30 at the Prochaska residence here. And at 9 o'clock at St.
Matthew's Church of Clare with the Rev. James Shanahan officiating. Burial
will be in the Catholic cemetery on the Lizard Creek.
The
body will be brought to the Prochaska residence later this afternoon from
the Laufersweller Funeral Home at Fort Dodge.
