|
|
This is a directory of business
(including farm) owners, in Tama County, 1875.
It appeared in the Atlas of Tama County, Iowa,
pub. Harrison & Warner 1875. For each

I have tried to transcribe
everything accurately. I did leave out some
unnecesary punctation, and put place names in
the US, in the nativity column, in the format
"County, State" using two-letter abreviations
for states. So "Tama, IA" would be Tama
County, not city. A few exceptions are the
large cities, like Philadelphia, PA. If you
want to see the original, go to Atlas of Tama County, Iowa,
pub. Harrison & Warner 1875. Please
let me know if you find any mistakes. |
This is a very long table! I could have broken
it up into 27 separate tables, on separate
pages. It think this is better, because it is
easier to search and scroll, without having to
go to 27 different pages. I hope that, since
it has no graphics, it won't take too long to
load.
Statistics based on these data can be
found on the Population
Page.
