Larkin Price
farmer, S. 23; P.O. Liscomb; born in Franklin Co.,
Va., in 1819; came to this county Nov. 20, 1853; previous to his coming to
Iowa he lived in Mississippi and emigrated to Jo Daviess Co., Ill., in
1858, and from Mercer Co., Ill., in 1850, he went overland to California,
where he remained three years. Has held office of School Director
and Assessor. Owns 221 acres of land. He married Miss Sarah A.
Dawson in 1844; she was born in Crawford Co., Ind.; has seven
children--Harriet J., Sarah E., Larkin F., Luella, William H., Roena and
LeRoy; lost two--Isaac T. and Clara J.
