WOMEN'S CLUBS
AND THEIR WORK IN UPBUILDING THE COMMUNITY.

In the field of women's clubs Atlantic is well represented. The club ladies here are active boosters for the town and county and nothing which could be printed in this edition would be more timely than something about them. The articles about the clubs herein have been prepared by the members, whose names appear with them.

The Priscilla Club

BY MRS. F. M. NEBE.

This club, the membership of which is limited to twelve, was organized at the home of Mrs. F. M. Nebe, February 15, 1912, and while it is one of the younger clubs of the city the members are already reaping the benefits to be derived from an organization planned on such lines as this one is.

This exchanging of new ideas, which are always of mutual benefit and the social recreation that results from leaving off the ordinary cares of life, and once every two weeks meeting at the home of one of the members, where each one's own needle work is shown with pride, and where, after a few hours of work a light luncheon is served, is enough to make every member take an active interest in the club.
