Obituary
Margery West Locke, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Locke, died Saturday evening of peritonitis and the remains were laid to rest in the Kensett Cemetery Sunday afternoon. The little one was born Aug. 17 and in her brief stay had greatly endeared herself in the affections of the members of the family, but God, who understands what is best for all, saw fit to call her to that beautiful home above rather than leave her in this world of sin and sorrow. It is a comfort to the sorrowing hearts to recall the words of Jesus: “Suffer little children and forbid them not, to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Source – Kensett News, Kensett, Iowa, Wed., Nov 1, 1905, p.5
