Obituary
Anne Tostensdatter Kjos, familiarly known as Mrs. Knudt Lomen, was born April 14, 1844, at Valders, Norway. She emigrated to America in 1869, and settled in Winneshiek County, Iowa. She was married to Knudt Lomen in 1875. In 1876 they moved to Worth County where they have since made their home. Their marriage was blessed with five children of whom four survive. Mrs. Lomen’s health began to fail about two years ago, but she was not confined to her bed until a few days before her death which occurred on the 6th of February 1907. The funeral was conducted at the Deer Creek N. L. church on February 11, Rev. Waldeland officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Deer Creek N. L. Cemetery
