Last Tuesday, Oct. 27, in the Big Canoe church occurred the marriage of Peter Wennes and Miss Ida Kittleson. The reception was held on Wednesday evening in the town hall at Hesper. A large crowd and a “large” time were reported. Mrs. E. J. Wold served supper to the guests.

On Tuesday last in the presence of relatives and friends occurred the marriage of Peter Wennes and Ida Kittleson at Big Canoe church. Following the ceremony supper was served to nearest relatives and friends at the home of the bride’s mother near Hesper. Wednesday evening a reception was held at Tabor’s hall in Hesper to a host of friends and relatives. The bride, although not now of this vicinity, until a few years ago resided on her father’s farm near Highlandville and was for several years principal of the schools here. She is well known as a lady of charming qualities and fine character. The groom is also known as a young man of sterling worth. The young couple will reside on the groom’s father’s farm northwest of Highlandville. Their many friends join in wishing them a prosperous and happy future.
