Harve Custer, about 43, well known in Muscatine, died at Mercy hospital, Davenport, at 3 o'clock this morning. Mr. Custer had resided here at various times. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. John Custer, Sr., of this city; three children, Josephine, Beatrice and Dennis; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Diercks and Mrs. Glen Hazen, both of Muscatine; seven brothers, Charles, John, Ed and Wes, all of Washington, Lan and Fred of Davenport, and Dave of Canada. The body will be taken to Washington and funeral services held there later.
