lydy marriage

LYDY, CLARK, LANGFORD

I am searching for the marriage record of James M. Lydy. The partial bible page that I have says he married Sarah E. Clark on 17 Oct 1877 in Washington County Iowa. However the date on the page has obviously been changed and the date appears to be 1883 under the different color of ink. After James death in 1888, Sarah married Durius Goodwin and her name was listed on the marriage record as Sarah Langford Lydy. There are other Langfords on the bible page. Also the 1880 census has Sarah Langford living at home. This makes a difference as my grandfather was born in 1881. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
