Chris A. Petersen, 81, died Monday, December 19, 2011.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Norwalk United Methodist Church with burial following at the Norwalk Cemetery. A visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 21 at the church.

Chris was born August 3, 1930 in Wiota, IA. He retired from the Air Force after 32 years of service. He was a member of the Norwalk United Methodist Church, Silver Squadron and the Cumming American Legion.

Chris is survived by his wife, Jo Petersen; sons, Lyle (Cindy) Petersen, and Paul (Tiffany) Petersen.

He was preceded in death by his parents Chris and Claytie Petersen and brothers, George (Miriam) Petersen and Harold (Clara) Petersen.
