David Mcmains, Company H, 1st Cav., Iowa

Robert Mcmains, residence: Wapello County, IA enlisted in Company H, 1st Cavalry, Iowa, on Feb. 29, 1864. He died of disease Sept 25, 1865, Hempstead, TX. I suspect that he is from one of my Mcmains lines, but I don't know where he fits in. Most of my Mcmains were in surrounding counties.
