Guy Leedom married Edna Hartley. I am not sure whether this Edna Hartley Leedom was in any way related to the family of Philip and Susan Cottrell Hartley. Someone needs to find Edna's obituary to see whose daughter she was.

As for "Stephens, Joseph Nat" to "Leedom, Ivy Elven," I know for a fact this man was Joseph Nathaniel Stevens, one of at least 4 children born to Scott Stevens and Sarah Ellen (Barker) Cox Babb Stevens [Scott was Sarah Ellen's 3rd husband]. Joseph Stevens was a brother of my great-grandfather, William W. Stevens (1885-1914). Joe was born in Ottumwa but lived for many years in Kansas. My father said Uncle Joe only once stopped by to visit my grandfather (Joe's nephew), my grandmother, my father and my aunt, when my father was about 9.

Naturally, Joseph Stevens has been dead for a long while now.
