Pauline Metz

Pauline Topping Metz, 96, of 916 N. Third St., Burlington died Monday, May 13, 1991 at Burlington Medical Center's Klein unit.

Born Oct. 18, 1894, in Birmingham, she was the daughter of John W. and Ida Belle Topping. She married Walter W. Metz Oct. 16, 1920 in Burlington. He died June 13, 1972.

She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church.

Surviving are one son, William T. Metz, Burlington; William T. Metz, Burlington; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The service for Mrs. Metz was held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 1991 at Christ Episcopal Church with Fr. Harry L. Knisley officiating. Burial was in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Christ Episcopal Church.
