Gary Schultz

Gary Lee Schultz, 44, of Birmingham died February 14, 1991, at his home.

He was born oct. 27, 1946, in Fairfield to Marshall and Wilma Davisson Schultz. He married Donna J. Ingalls on October 8, 1966, in Fairfield.

He was a 1965 Fairfield High School graduate and received training at Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in Des Moines. He was a former Henry County and Jefferson County Deputy Sheriff and was a guard at Iowa Correctional Facility in Mount Pleasant where he had been employed for the past six years. He was a member of Fairfield Elks Lodge and Izaak Walton Legue, Ducks Unlimited and former member of Iowa National Guard.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Jamie Lynn Schultz at home and his parents of Fairfield.

The service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 10 a.m. Monday, February 18, 1991, at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, the Revs. Ed Parker and Phil Campbell officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to the family or Izaak Walton League.
